Job Description
I am recruiting for a Class 2 Moffett driver to cover a 6-week holiday period for my client in Redditch. My client specialises in the construction industry and are the best in the game. This is paying between £13 and £14p.h Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle equipped with a Moffett forklift system.
– Load and unload goods efficiently and securely using the Moffett forklift.
– Transport goods to designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
– Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
– Inspect and maintain the vehicle and Moffett forklift, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
– Maintain proper documentation for deliveries, including logbooks, delivery notes, and any other required paperwork.
– Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.
Requirements:
– Valid Class 2 driver’s licence.
– Moffett forklift certification and experience operating a Moffett forklift.
– Proven experience in a similar driving role, preferably within the construction sector.
– Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
– Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
If the 6 week cover is successful there may always be a chance of a Permanent opportunity afterwards.
