I. GENERAL SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for performing cleaning duties for Tremont Street Garage with cashiering responsibilities as needed.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Cleans garage, office, stairwells, and elevators.

Removes debris such as loose paper, cans and bottles throughout garage area and stairwells.

Empties trash receptacles in garage, office, bathrooms, and replaces with fresh bags. Using cleaning solvents, cleans bathrooms including sinks and commodes.

Replenishes supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, and soap) as necessary.

Using gas powered sweeper, sweeps and cleans front entrance area of garage. Cleans elevators by shining chrome, spraying walls and washing floors. Collects parking tickets and refunds appropriate change especialy during peak periods. Answers garage patrons’ requests for information courteously. Performs other related duties when requested by supervisor
