Position: Maintenance Operative
Working hrs: Mon -Fri – 11:00 – 19:00
Pay Rate: £12.00 – £14.00 per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team in Evesham, UK. As a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our food production machinery. Your role will be vital in ensuring smooth operations and minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of food production machinery
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Carry out repairs and replace faulty components when necessary
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns
Collaborate with the production team to address maintenance concerns promptly
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Document maintenance activities and provide reports as needed

Requirements:
Previous experience in maintenance operations is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and management
A commitment to maintaining high safety standards
