Job Description
An ambitious, growing Product Design consultancy are looking for an enthusiastic Office Receptionist to join their modern offices in an exciting role with progression opportunities.
This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday, fully office based.
Lovely Hours – Monday – Thursday 9am – 5.30pm and Friday 9am – 3pm there can be some flexibility.
Salary on offer up to £25,000 per annum (depending on experience) + fantastic benefits and perks.
The Office Receptionist role:
” You will be managing the arrival experience for clients and visitors, providing a friendly, welcoming, and professional first impression for the business, managing incoming calls and handling incoming/outgoing deliveries.
” Helping the team with general administrative duties will also make up a large part of the role including managing office supplies and assisting with ad hoc tasks.
” On occasion, you will also be required to assist with the logistics and running of user research and human factor studies as part of their design and development projects.
” There will also be some simple maintenance and facilities tasks eg. Maintaining the coffee machine as well as assisting in the arrangement and scheduling of building maintenance
The ideal person for the Office Receptionist role:
” Someone who is professional, reliable, pro-active, positive and works to high standards. You must be able to multi-task, effectively prioritise your workload and be highly organised. You will have a friendly and accommodating manner and find it easy to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
” Previous general Office Receptionist / Administration or Customer Service experience would be beneficial
” Excellent written and verbal communication skills
” Confident to use own initiative and be ability to juggle priorities
” Quick learner and an appetite to pick up new skills and technologies
