Production Assistant

Job title: Production Operative
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £13.28 including shift allowance
Hours: Monday to Friday – continental shifts
Permanent- full time

Are you looking for a permanent role with immediate start ? Pertemps are looking for 2 Production Operatives to join our Rotherham based client. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to read technical drawings and be willing to work on rotational shifts.

Your responsibilities:
-Following of the laser kitting process
– Working on MRP printing programming sheets
– Ensure the workshop is kept tidy
-Health and safety will need to be followed at all times
-Maximize the uptime of the machines by delivering materials in a timely manner
-Collect parts from various machines

Skills required:
– Would be a benefit to have experience with the following: Fork Lift Truck, Counterbalance Licence or Side loader
-Overhead crane / slinging lifting skills
-Needs to be able to read engineering drawings
– Operate a drill or similar machinery
