Job Description
Are you a friendly and customer-oriented individual looking for a dynamic role in an industrial recruitment agency? We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join our team at Pertemps Birmingham Industrial. As the first point of contact for our candidates, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and professional experience for everyone who interacts with our agency.
As a Receptionist, your primary responsibility will be to provide efficient and friendly reception services.
Your key duties as a Receptionist will include:
- Greeting visitors and clients in a warm and professional manner.
- Answering and directing incoming calls to the appropriate staff members.
- Responding to general inquiries and providing information about our agency’s services.
- Scheduling appointments and managing meeting room bookings.
- Obtain and check Right to Work documents
- Maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Assisting with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and document management.
- Providing support to the recruitment team as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A – Levels or equivalent
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional and friendly demeanour with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and telephone systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Familiarity with industrial recruitment processes and terminology is a plus.
