Pertemps are currently recruiting for a street Cleaner to assist with the cleansing of the highways and footpaths throughout the City of Salisbury and within the parks and open spaces to achieve DEFRA grade A standards.

Overview of the Street cleaner role
– Drive Compact sweeping vehicle (subject to training and appropriate licence)
– Undertake, working alone or part of a team, the cleansing of footpaths, pavements, and the local area
-Collection and clearance of litter, leaves and other waste in designated areas, emptying litter and recycling bins
-Hand sweeping of pavements and footpaths and operate leaf blower equipment to aid with sweeper clearance
-Maintain and operate a street barrow
-Collecting and removal of fly tipping.
-Graffiti removal
-Operate the pressure steam washer for cleansing of hard surface areas, street and park furniture and other assets

All applicants need to be able to work independently or as part of a team and have previous experience with the role.
Applicants will ideally need a full UK driving licence.
