Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and diligent Workshop Cleaner to join our client’s dynamic team and contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and safety of their workshop facilities. This position is based in Hykeham Lincoln and is accessible by public transport.
What will you be doing?
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the workshop area, including floors, workstations, machinery, and other surfaces.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Empty and dispose of waste materials and garbage properly.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other communal areas.
- Keep track of cleaning supplies and inform the supervisor when supplies need replenishing.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly
- Operate cardboard bailing machine.
What skills do you need?
- Previous experience in cleaning roles is preferred but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and materials.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work either the following shifts:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Pay: £10.42 per hour
