What a Machine Operator will do:
- Prepare supplies and materials for printing
- Set up the press bed and screen
- Adjust equipment settings for optimal printing
- Load and position stock for printing
- Operate screen printing presses and print sample sheets
- Fine-tune the register and adjust printing parameters
- Perform color approval and ink adhesion tests
- Maintain ink and substrate quality throughout the run
- Conduct in-process quality checks
- Manage production documentation and communicate job status
- Ensure safety protocols for hazardous materials
- Assist in training new operators
What you need to be a Machine Operator:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in screen process printing
- Excellent hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Strong mechanical aptitude#metrojobs
