Job for Driver Miami, Florida

Miami Lighthouse for the Blind, Florida’s oldest and largest nonprofit organization serving the needs of blind and visually impaired people, is seeking a driver position.

This position entails the primary responsibilities of safely and courteously driving assigned clients to and from their homes (or other locations) to MLB using an agency vehicle. This position will also assist with general cleaning duties.

Requirements:
It is preferred that the candidate is bilingual in Spanish and English, in addition to having at least one year of experience driving a bus or passenger van and working with children or people with disabilities.

Completion of Department of Children and Families child care training and a valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record are required. Must be able to successfully pass a criminal history and drug screening test.
