Maintenance Technician Job Altamonte, Florida

WORK SUMMARY
This role will be responsible for the maintenance and appearance of all attractions. The Attractions Technician will help facilitate the repair and maintenance of our attractions and any associated equipment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventory
Assist with equipment repair, troubleshooting, and maintaining attractions in superior operating condition
Responsible for maintaining the desktop and back-end in a clean and orderly manner
Maintain an adequate supply of tools and machines
Read and interpret diagnostic manuals

Maintain a safe work environment and assist the Supervisor in ensuring that staff comply with all safety rules
Advise the Supervisor of any issues and/or potential issues discovered during maintenance of the Attractions
Ability to work multiple shifts and regular attendance is a requirement for the role
Perform other related duties as assigned

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or minimum of one (1) year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Some knowledge of amusement equipment is preferred but not required
Work flexibility (nights, weekends and holidays as needed)
Basic working knowledge of hand tools
General knowledge of OSHA related safety regulations and practices

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
Move around the facility and stand for long periods of time (more than 2/3 of the time)
Standing, kneeling, bending, walking, reaching above the shoulder, pushing and pulling
Requires ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 300 pounds. (over 70 pounds with the help of a cart)
Ability to use personal protective equipment
While performing the duties of this job, the Attractions Technician is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, listen, see, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, and use hands and fingers to operate various tools ( i.e. drills, ladders, chemicals, etc.).
